Welcome to Snoopy the Camaro’s blog. This page is to follow the restoration of a 1989 Camaro, which is my personal project.

Now you may think Snoopy is a strange name for a Camaro, and perhaps it is, but there is a story to this. Now the name first came about in high school when my first daily driver was a 1992 Camaro RS with a 305 v8 and was white with black trim. Well one day when trying to come up with a name for my new car and listening to the radio, well Snoopy vs. The Red Baron came on. The amusing though came to tell my friends that I would name the Camaro, Snoopy.

Well….It stuck and became pretty well attached to the car. Soon my friends would ask how Snoopy was and such, so I decided to let it stay. Well in 2005 Snoopy meet a fatal end in a car accident involving a 1992 Ford f-150 white.

Now naturally I became attached to the car after so many years of faithful service of getting me around. That I had decided to rebuild him somewhere in the future.

Well 5 years later the resurrection of Project Snoopy has begun. This is thanks due to a friend finding a 1989 camaro RS, white with a 305 for 200 dollars. The car has sat around for about 3 years and naturally needs work.

So that in a nutshell is the story of Project Snoopy. Stay tuned as I will add more here such as prices list, to do list, and details of Project Snoopy.
