Hey people, I finally get back to updating this. Sorry for the delay though, been busy with college and all.

Well as promised here are the pictures of the rust…not pretty but fixable.

I have already made some progress in removing the rust and cut out the large corroded area where the rust has ate a hole in the floor board. Just have to finish removing the rust with a wire brush wheel and then patch the hole.

Also I found a set of mint condition tail lights in a junkyard for 20 bucks, so sweet score there. Now I am going to take the old ones out and try experimenting with a mod idea I had for it and see if it works out.

I have struck…RUST!

Yeah, finally got around to gutting the interior today and I discovered rust. Now I knew there was a rest hole, and so knew some patching had to be done. What I didn’t know was how freakishly big the hole is. However I can still patch it though, so still now to big of a problem.

I will have to post pictures another time, as it is getting late now and seem to have some difficulty getting them to upload.

Well since it has been so long since I updated last, due to a busy schedule and summer semester at college…blah, blah, blah…I haven’t had much time to work on it. So since I hadn’t done much work and the motor is on hold until I get some money…I decided to show you what the car should look like in the future.

This was an image I found in google search and pretty much what I am aiming for. Biggest difference will be the stripes will fit the lines of the hood instead of the original Y like shape on the stripes on the hood. They will also be flat black on a gloss white paint. Should look good.

Well hey there, I know it has been some time since I last updated this, but college has started back. That and the fact not much has been done other than me removing crap from the engine getting ready to pull the engine and transmission from the car. Then I can take a look at it and see what is going on and what need to be done. Probably going to need a rebuild if the block isn’t cracked. Anyways this is the mess currently under the hood.

Today was a rather busy day in all. Though it may not sound like I did mention when I tell you but meh, still busy so take my word on it. hehe.

After removing the spark plugs which took a good while due to emissions junk in the way and the AC system as well, and then spraying each cylinder with a liberal amount of PB Blaster, and letting this set for a while…The engine did manage to turn a little bit.

However orginally thinking I could use a rachet and a socket to turn this, sadly proved to be wrong. In the end the bolt just either tightend or loosen on me. So removing the old battery so that I may could get a better connection when trying to jump the car… The starter finally got some life to it and managed to turn the crankshaft pulley about half an inch.

So I learned two things today, the starter is perfectly fine, and the engine can spin a bit. Hopefully letting the PB Blaster will gain so different results for me tomorrow afternoon. We shall see.

Well my first entry on the progress being made with this project. So, far not much has been done due to other projects and college taking higher priorities in life. So I have some photos to share of things done and what Project Snoopy looks like now.

So far in these photos I only changed out the hatch from the plain glass 1989 hatch with the 1992 one from the wrecked camaro to have a rear defroster. This was a task to try and do, but should be well worth it in the future to clear any fog or frost on the back glass.

This was the throttle body on the car after giving it a good cleaning but before grinding the bore ridges down and polishing the bores as well.

And here is the end result of the throttle body work I did. Granted not be perfect, but it works and looks a lot better than it did before I think.

Anyways that is all for now and sorry for such a long entry to the blog, but felt it was a good idea to give a good update on the project.
